Alison and Kyle met in the fall of 2020 at O'Gannigan'ss Irish Pub, where they both worked following the Covid-19 pandemic. Alison was originally working in the kitchen before moving to front of house to bartend and Kyle began in the kitchen, eventually becoming kitchen manager. They were innocently flirty and friendly for about a year, while Alison was in another relationship. At long last around the holidays in 2021, Alison was single again and stole a kiss from Kyle during an employee gathering. From that night on they began the best relationship each could have ever dreamt of, they were inseparable and insufferably affectionate to most, but to them it was perfectly meant to be!

The years since have been full of adventures, live theatre and music, good food and drinks and most importantly spending quality time with friends and family. Alison and Kyle decided pretty early on that they would both love to start at family. After just about two years, they made the decision to start trying! It was August 2024 when Alison discovered she was pregnant and their dream of starting a family together was coming true. Lucy was born on March 18, 2025. She missed being a St. Patrick's baby by exactly one hour and one minute! Seems so fitting for a couple that met in an Irish Pub...

The day that Kyle proposed seemed like an ordinary Wednesday to Alison and was anything but to Kyle. He purchased the ring on a whim after an early day home from work and it didn't last in Kyle's pocket more than 4 hours! Alison had stayed home with Lucy that day and after some errands the family met up for a little snack at a local bar before heading home to change and get ready for a visit with Kyle's family. While at home, Alison was changing Lucy's diaper and spun around from the changing table to find Kyle on one knee blocking her way. Her first reaction was "what are you doing!?" before seeing WHY he was in the way... you know what happens next. The answer was always yes.
